Content / Checklist

Review a reel before you approve it

Catch the issues that a successful render cannot tell you about.

Message and accuracy

Does the edit preserve what you meant? Are names, numbers, claims, and on-screen captions accurate? Remove claims you cannot support.

Picture and sound

Watch on a phone with sound on, then muted. Check voice clarity, abrupt cuts, distracting music, and whether captions are readable against the footage.

Text placement

Check captions and graphics against the target platform’s current interface. Keep essential text away from controls and edges. Preview in the destination app where possible.

Send useful revision notes

Use: timestamp → what is wrong → the requested change. Example: “00:12 — the caption says fifteen; change it to fifty.”

Approve a specific version

Name the approved file and version. Verify it opens and plays through. Approval does not mean it has been published.
